1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Tele Pay Fundraiser, you agree to follow these Terms of Use and any platform rules, campaign guidelines, payment instructions, and security requirements shown within the platform.
2. Platform purpose
Tele Pay Fundraiser provides digital fundraising tools for creating campaigns, collecting contributions, tracking donor records, sending receipts, managing campaign officials, reviewing payout requests, and maintaining transparent campaign activity records.
3. Who may use Tele Pay
Users may use Tele Pay as donors, campaign creators, campaign officials, administrators, or visitors. Account holders must provide accurate information, protect their login credentials, and avoid allowing unauthorized people to access their accounts.
4. Campaign creation and approval
Campaign creators are responsible for submitting truthful, complete, and current campaign information. Tele Pay may review campaign details before publication and may request additional clarification, documentation, official contacts, beneficiary details, or payout information.
- Campaign titles, stories, images, goals, beneficiaries, and categories must reflect the real fundraising need.
- Creators must not impersonate another person, organization, church, school, welfare group, family, or beneficiary.
- Campaigns may be approved, rejected, paused, flagged, closed, or removed where information is incomplete, misleading, suspicious, abusive, or unsuitable for the platform.
5. Campaign visibility and public content
Approved public campaigns may be visible on campaign listing pages, category pages, search results, featured sections, and direct campaign links. Unlisted campaigns may be accessible only through direct links where the feature is enabled.
Campaign pages may display the campaign story, cover image, creator name, verification status, raised amount, donor count, supporter messages, campaign progress, and other public information intended to help donors understand the fundraising need.
6. Donations and donor responsibility
Donations are voluntary contributions made by donors toward a selected campaign. Donors should review the campaign story, organizer information, verification status, goal, deadline, and any available updates before contributing.
- Donors must provide accurate payment details when making a contribution.
- Where email is provided, Tele Pay may send receipts, confirmations, campaign updates, and support messages.
- Donors may choose anonymous display or hidden amount options where available, but transaction records may still be retained internally for accountability, reconciliation, compliance, and support.
7. Payments, confirmations, and receipts
Tele Pay may integrate with payment providers such as M-Pesa or other supported payment gateways. A donation is treated as confirmed when the platform receives a successful payment confirmation, callback, manual reconciliation, or admin verification.
Payment prompts, callback delivery, settlement timing, and payment reversals may depend on the payment provider, mobile network, bank, or gateway used. Tele Pay records payment references, contribution status, timestamps, and reconciliation details to support transparent tracking.
8. Fees and deductions
Tele Pay may apply platform fees, service charges, payment processing costs, or commission before payout. Applicable fees may be displayed on the Fees page, campaign admin screens, payout screens, or payment records.
9. Payouts and governance approvals
Campaign payouts may require review and approval before funds are released. Where governance is enabled, payout requests may require approval from designated officials such as Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer before admin processing.
- Campaign creators and officials must provide accurate payout details.
- Tele Pay may delay payout processing while verifying campaign information, official approvals, contribution status, payment disputes, or suspicious activity.
- Payout records may show gross amount, service fee, net amount, approval status, processing notes, and payout reference.
10. Refunds, reversals, and disputed payments
Refunds and reversals may depend on campaign status, payment provider rules, payout status, and the circumstances of the donation. Where a contribution has already been paid out, refund handling may require coordination with the campaign owner, beneficiary, officials, payment provider, and platform administrator.
11. Prohibited use
Users must not use Tele Pay for fraud, illegal fundraising, impersonation, harassment, misleading claims, fake emergencies, unauthorized use of photos or names, money laundering, abuse of payment prompts, spam, or attempts to compromise platform security.
Tele Pay may restrict accounts, remove content, pause campaigns, block transactions, or preserve records where prohibited activity is detected or reasonably suspected.
12. User content and permissions
Campaign creators are responsible for the content they upload or submit, including text, images, names, phone numbers, documents, updates, and beneficiary details. By submitting campaign content, creators allow Tele Pay to display, process, store, resize, optimize, and use that content for operating and promoting the campaign within the platform.
13. Account security
Users are responsible for keeping passwords, reset links, official invitation links, admin accounts, and devices secure. Any suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly through the support contacts on the Contact page.
14. Platform availability and changes
Tele Pay may update, improve, suspend, or modify features, campaign workflows, payment settings, admin tools, notifications, security controls, and public pages to improve the platform and protect users.
15. Records, audit logs, and communication
Tele Pay may maintain records of campaign actions, donations, payment callbacks, payout approvals, admin actions, notifications, email logs, and support requests. These records help with accountability, troubleshooting, reporting, and campaign transparency.
16. Termination or suspension
Tele Pay may suspend, limit, or terminate access to accounts, campaigns, payout requests, or platform features where users violate these terms, submit inaccurate information, abuse the platform, or create risk for donors, beneficiaries, payment providers, or administrators.
17. Updates to these terms
Tele Pay may update these Terms of Use as the platform grows, new features are introduced, payment integrations change, or operational requirements evolve. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
18. Contact
